In a stunning revelation, GUIDING LIGHT has announced that, after 7 years with the soap, Laura Wright will be exiting the role of Cassie Winslow. "GUIDING LIGHT and Laura Wright have mutually agreed to part ways when her contract expires in October," says executive producer Ellen Wheeler in a statement. "Moving forward, we've got a fabulous story in place for Cassie and the role will be recast. We wish Laura the best of luck."
